About us
My goal is to produce quality waterfowl taxidermy with a short turnaround time. I am a waterfowl hunter myself and I strive to make every mount look exactly like they are in the wild. Taxidermy is an art, not a process and every mount requires adequate time and attention to detail to mimic the poses of life.

Wyatt did such an outstanding job on my first Speck mount , I had him do 4 more geese, 17 ducks and 3 Sandhills cranes! I can't waite to get started on a few more puddle ducks and then start on diving ducks! Again I can't say enough about Rockport Taxidermy. Except maybe-----TAKE EM BOYS!

After having my bird spend a considerable, and what many would say an unnecessary amount of time locked away in the freezer of another local Taxidermist, I decided that it might be time to start pursuing another option. "My son Ryan shot his first red head duck last year. After checking around, prior experiences, and reading a review in a magazine and newspaper we decided to give Wyatts Taxidermy a try. He informed me that it would be a 6-8 week turnaround with my surprise I thought he meant 6-8 months and thought to myself surely this guy can't be serious . As a matter of fact I am stilling waiting on a duck I dropped off from a year ago at another Taxidermist in town. I received a text from Wyatt stating he had started on my duck , I thought to myself it's only been 5 weeks . Is this guy for real. A week later Wyatt called me up said my duck was ready. With much anticipation , I got in my truck and headed his way. When we arrived at Wyatts Taxidermy he greeted us in his showroom and presented the mount. Wyatt out did him self on this work of art . My duck hunting guide (Donny Cruz) highly recommended Wyatt as a taxidermist for my bluebill, redhead, wigeon, and 2 pintails. I couldn't be happier with Wyatt's work.
